The Petmate Litter Catcher Mat does an excellent job of catching stray litter.
When used in conjunction with the Booda Dome With Cleanstep, it drastically cuts down on tracking. I only saw a few specks outside. It was great!
I haven’t found another mat that can match this mat in its ability to catch litter.
I do have one gripe about this mat though. Cleaning wise, it’s not so friendly. You can take it outside and shake out any litter caught inside, but if there happens to be other things (like bits of #2) trapped inside, it’s not so easy to clean. You would need to hose it down to completely clean it. And I mean with a power hose!
But, if you have a power hose handy and you’re looking for a good mat to keep down the litter tracking, then the Petmate Litter Catcher Mat is a good option.
